Phew! Yes, at long last. After an eternity of getting occupied with other projects, I've finally pushed myself to make the time and bring Cold Turkey back from off the shelf.
I must admit, I truly am humbled by everybody's support on this comic. My drawing is not exactly the greatest or most fluid (as you can probably tell), so it does feel at times like I've bitten off more than I can chew going with a project like this. That being said, I love reading everyone's reactions and comments - and plan to bring you a little more still.
Now, I'm well aware that I have not been consistent in getting the pages out. (I mean, damn, almost 4 years between Page 16 and 17, WTF?)
So to answer some questions about what's next, here's a little info:
Originally, I had planned 21 Pages for Cold Turkey. Page 21 would have been the last - and it was an ending that is fairly common on shrinking/vore comics.
Valentina gets home to rest hours later, pats her belly and comments how good the sandwich was, not realizing what happened to Prudence.
Not exactly something new or unexpected right?
So then I thought.... NO! This has been done before. And honestly, I've really enjoyed working on this little project, and want to continue it for a bit longer.
So, here's the catch. I've scrapped that original ending, and planned another
set of pages to continue it.
The current set will end at Page 20.
The next (and Final) set is 12 Pages. My plan is to get a few of these done at a time, and THEN upload them
This way, I can post a few pages at a time and move the story along more, RATHER than having everyone waiting for months to get the next page.
I'll continue to push myself to work on these consistently, so that we DON'T have another 4 year gap between Page 20 and the rest of the comic.
I'm actually quite happy with the outline for the next set. I spent quite some time thinking how to keep things new and original, while still showing some of the things I know people want to see.
Again, thank you all for your support, and for sending a little reminder now and then when I disappear for too long.
We'll see you on 2018! (P.D. - Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard the song that fuels this madness? Cold Turkey by John Lennon?)
